About Shawn LaChapelle

Shawn Lachapelle, photographer, born and raised upstate New York. Shawn spends most of his time traveling around the country capturing unique images in new and unseen ways. The scope of his portfolio extends through rural life, pet portraits, thoroughbred retirement farms and wildlife throughout the Midwest. His connection to nature is very much reflected in his wide range of work.

He began his career in photography as a freelance photojournalist working for different news agencies. An understanding for art and experience in photojournalism help allow each image to tell its own story. Shawn has been collected and commissioned by several elite automotive and architectural agencies.
