Dana Salzone grew up just outside Chicago. Her love of art began in grade school with frequent trips to the renowned Art Institute of Chicago. Salzone was always drawn to Gallery 243 where the works of Claude Monet are housed.

In each painting, she carefully curates a unique palette, and makes sure every inch of work flows beautifully into its neighboring space, creating the perfect marriage of color. One unique thing about Salzone is that she paints with both hands. 

Salzone works with highly pigmented acrylic on large-scale canvas and work from her studio in Madison, NJ. Salzone draws inspiration from old photographs her late grandmother Jeanne took in Monet’s gardens in the 1970s.
