Larry-Womack

Larry Womack a native of Cincinnati Ohio is a student of Classical Realism. He studied art at the University of Cincinnati in the D.A.A. Program but mostly a self taught artist who specializes in oil paints, because of the proven performance and lasting beauty of these oldest mediums.

Paint for Larry is an evolutionary search, he is always pressing forward challenging himself to find and create unique compositions, using vibrant and lively colors, emphasizing the importance of light and shadows. He always strives to unveil the magic characteristics of the final stroke that will complete a painting, and patiently awaits the final work to arise.

Larry's work is represented in selective galleries. His paintings are also in private and corporative collections in the United States and Canada. He is now involved with a coalition of nine artists at the Fifth Street Gallery in Downtown Cincinnati and maintains a studio at 1310 Pendleton Art Center in Cincinnati Ohio.
